Employee Mandatory Abuse Reporting: During your care to a client should you see signs of abuse of any kind by a parent, family member, friend or other Agency Employee, do not confront the abuser directly as this will only make things worse for the patient. Simply make sure the client is safe, contact the Agency immediately, and the Agency will send someone to assist you right away. The Agency will then report such abuse to the Department of Health and related regulatory authorities. The employee who witnesses or suspected abuse must complete an incident report documenting the abuse and or related issues.
